Coltrane nº 1 - The Saint

The first work in the series 3 for Trane takes as its main reference the canonization of John Coltrane by the African Orthodox Church in 1982; the Saint John Coltrane African Orthodox Church, in California, has existed since 1969.

Coltrane nº 2 - Africa

In 1961, John Coltrane released the album Africa/Brass. This work is my personal impression of this landmark album.

Coltrane nº 3 - The Beginning

In 1966, during a performance at Temple University, Coltrane set his saxophone aside and began beating his chest and chanting—a clear sign of his intense spiritual quest, echoing humankind's origins: primal sound expressed through the body.

Double Bass Ensemble

Double Bass Ensemble is essentially a timeline of a double bass solo. Observe how the musician alters their expression and how the instrument changes form, recreating the image as the music unfolds.

Constructo nº 1

Constructo No. 1 is an illustration based on observations from the window of my former apartment. From that vantage point, I could see the surrounding neighborhoods, where small houses were built on hilly terrain. From a distance, these houses appeared as towering walls, stacked one on top of another.

Constructo nº 2

Constructo is an incredible city that defies the rules of perspective and the principles of light and shadow. It is an almost ethereal structure, a city that could not exist in the real world governed by these rules.
